MORE AWARDS FOR DAGE’S INNOVATIVE XD7600NT100 X-RAY INSPECTION SYSTEM

April 29th 2009 Aylesbury, UK -  Dage Precision Industries, a Nordson company (NASDAQ: NDSN) and the industry leader in x-ray inspection technology, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded two prestigious industry awards for its new and unique XD7600NT100 digital x-ray inspection system at Nepcon China 2009. 

CK Lim, General Manager Dage China and Dr David Bernard, International Product Manager X-ray Systems accepted SMT China magazine’s highly coveted SMT China Vision Award in the Inspection – AXI (Automated X-ray Inspection) category.  Presented by Mr. Adonis Mak, publishing director of SMT China and president of ACT International Media Group, the Vision Award winners were selected based on 10 criteria that included creativeness and innovativeness, performance, reliability, cost effectiveness, ease-of-use, flexibility, compatibility, quality contributions, environmental responsibility and maintainability/ reparability and service.

Dage also received EMAsia magazine’s  EMAsia Innovation Award in the category of Inspection Equipment (X-ray). This distinguished award was presented to John Tingay, Technical Director of Dage Precision Industries by Professor Wang Tian Xi of the Tshinghua-Flextronics SMT Lab on behalf of EMAsia magazine.  Tingay commented “I am delighted to receive this award on behalf of all those involved in the research and development of the Dage XD7600NT100, the most technologically advanced x-ray inspection system on the market today.  It is a great honour to have been recognized this week on two separate occasions by our industry peers”.
