Dage To Exhibit Quick View CT Inspection System At Semicon West
Dage Precision Industries, a Nordson company (NASDAQ: NDSN) and the industry leader in x-ray inspection technology, is pleased to announce that it will exhibit its new Quick View CT inspection system at the Semicon West show scheduled to take place in San Francisco, California on July 15-17, 2008.
Dage will showcase its new Quick View CT inspection system that allows users to obtain initial computerized tomography (CT) reconstructions within 5 minutes compared to previous times of over 20 minutes. This quick view CT software makes the use of CT a much more viable process tool for production and failure analysis applications.
The Quick View CT software is available for Dage’s award winning x-ray inspection systems that combine superior digital acquisition technology and easy to use ImageWizard software for world class inspection quality. Combined with the advanced technology Dage NT x-ray tube, these systems provide sub-micron feature recognition with the added benefit of a sealed tube for minimal maintenance – a real benefit on busy production floors.
Also shown will be the new XD7600NTHP digital x-ray inspection system with a high-power tube offering 10 watts of power and sub-micron feature recognition. Unlike existing high power tubes that have to significantly compromise resolution when used at higher power levels, this new Dage high-power tube retains sub-micron feature recognition at full power. This is especially important when looking through dense materials such as multilayer printed circuit boards containing heat sinks.
A new option consisting of dual monitors will also be shown that allows operators to view more detail on the navigation map while at the same time allowing a full screen display for the all important x-ray image.
