Dage Announces The Success Of Its NT X-ray Tube Technology

Offers lower maintenance costs and eliminates filament replacement

Dage Precision Industries, a Nordson company (NASDAQ: NDSN) and the industry leader in x-ray inspection technology, is pleased to announce the success of its NT x-ray tube technology.

The Dage NT x-ray tube is the latest development in Dage’s revolutionary sealed-transmissive x-ray tube technology and provides sub-micron feature recognition with the added benefit of a sealed tube for minimal maintenance – a real benefit for busy production floors.  An advantage of the NT tube is that it does not require a vacuum-pumping system which significantly reduces operating costs.  Maintenance costs are also reduced since the NT tube never requires filament replacement.  All of these features have allowed Dage to reach new heights in the field of x-ray inspection technology.

The NT tube is available in several of Dage’s award winning digital x-ray inspection systems including the XD7500NT, XD7600NT and XD7600NT100 which combine the superior digital acquisition technology of the Dage XiDAT 2.0 imaging system with Dage’s easy to use ImageWizard software for world class inspection quality.

Optionally, the XD7600NT and XD7600NT100 can be equipped with computerized tomography (CT) providing 3D modeling and volumetric measurement of solder joints, ideally suited for analytical analysis of solder interconnections for critical applications such as stacked die, MEMS, package-in-package and package-on-package.
